Last week or so,
sorry been pretty lax wi’ me posting, been graduating then went to Claire’s for a few days (good times in the sunny south, bbq’s et al) while I had my first proper interview in the big smoke. Whiston and Wright decided to chance their arm and see if I could make half decent pictures, apparently I’ll find out in the next week or so. Bought a new phone too, the HTC Magic?...

This is one of Lima’s newest slums that they started blasting into the mountains to build around 6-7 years ago, this was after the terrorism in Raucana (where we were working) subsided just enough to allow people to start settling again. First few days in Peru
This place is really really mental. The things I´ve seen already have been pretty heavy in general. On the first visit to the barrió we saw a protest run past us away from the police and as we drove past we saw the police catch to boys one of about 10 and another of about 13 and they started beating them with metre long metal batons, and I mean REALLY beating them. I´ll write more about it later...
